Overview
 

1310nm or 1550nm series transmitters utilize AM-VSB to transmit video and voice signals into fiber optic network. At the receiving end, the indoor CATV optical receivers with InGaAs pin photodiodes can be used to convert the optical signal back to RF signal for distribution to the user.

The main applications of the RM-FRX receiver are as follows:

  Headend program broadcast
Headend to headend program exchange
Transmission of video and sound signals in a hybrid fiber coaxial network
